I was pretty nervous to make the switch , still am, but decided the cost was too much at this stage, still in college..struggling lol. So i have been on propecia for 2 years, ive been on the generic proscar(from a pharmacy so it should be legit), for a week and a half now and no changes noticeable...my head isnt itching or anything of that sort...nothings changed....now my question is if this generic isn't working properly, how would i know and when??? Im scared that in a month if the generic isn't working ill shed everything in a matter of days...is this possible?

If you got it for a U.S pharmacy it's legit.

I used to use Propecia and now use generic finasteride with great results and you can't be $20 for 90 5 mg pills (years supply) vs $1200 for Propecia

its kinda crazy, i feel like after 2 and ahalf weeks on the generic proscar...hairs are starting to fall more often..i am def. messing around with the hair more...and i feel like my head is feeling weird ..like itchy ....idk if i am being paranoid/stupid or if the change in amount of finasteride. is doing something..is this possible? even if i completely stopped finasteride, would i see effects this soon?

I always have wondered that since finasteride is not the only ingredient, just the active ingredient, then how do you know the finasteride is evenly devided throughout the pill? How do you know if you cut it up into 4's you aren't going to end up with 1 piece with 3mg, one piece with 2 mg, and the other 2 are just the other ingredients?

I guess you would have to ask a pharmacist.
