Switch to foam or just apply liquid once a day?

Hey guys, I've been applying Rogaine 5% liquid twice a day for about a week and a half and I've come to the conclusion that I either need to switch to the foam or just apply the liquid at night. The liquid just makes my hair look to bad to go out with it in. Do you guys have any advice for me? Should I stick with the liquid and only do it at night? Could it still be just as effective? Or should I switch to the foam and do it twice a day? Which do you think will produce better results? Thanks guys.

Foam morning and liquid at night with kirkland or rogaine to get the full pg lenght at night.

If you see the trials for both foam got a higer chance of succes while the results was less impressive and liquid have lower chance of success with better results. Alter and you will get the best from 2 worlds :)

Because foam is expensive, I was thinking of just using a small amount of it in the mornings and then about 1.5ml or so of liquid at night. Anyone have any thoughts?

Last i checked it was 3 months supply's for 30ish $ on ebay. Using once a day that should last you 5 months+

Is this what you do? If so, how were the results? Yea the reason I chose to go with the liquid in the beginning is because I saw how drastic the improvement was in some people (which I attributed to the PG). Any other advice would be appreciated!

I only use liquid once a day at night.

Used to do 1.3 - 1.8 on a wet scalp to compensate for once a day for months and noticed dark circles under my eyes recently. Used to do twice a day beore that, but it made my hair a bit greasy during work...
So changed to 1ml max night only last week on a completely dry scalp to see how the sides develop.

How come you don't take your own advice and use foam in the morning and liquid at night? Because of the dark circles under your eyes?

Cus of the dark circles now. before the reason was because it was impossible to get it to my country without a big customs slip telling it was rogaine foam inside. I use spironolactone in the morning now anyway and it work good so probably never will start the foam

It's a lot more expensive than that in the uk. I don't think it's properly on the market here, it's just imported from the states, and costs about 48-60 pounds for a 4 month supply

You should try buying your Rogaine foam of Ebay. I buy mine from a seller named monsterhotdeals and he's selling 8 months supply for $102. Never had any problems with customs and the shipping is fast.

Yeah it pisses me off Rogaine foam isn't marketed in the UK, it's annoyingly expensive to import. :/

Wondering if anyone's tried Foligain Minoxidil Foam? Here:

http://biovea.net/(S(e2sb3r55r2n5obekrumvnu3j))/product_detail.aspx?PID=2455&CID=0&OS=204

For us UK users that site has it at £30 for 3 months compared to £60 for 4 months of Rogaine Foam. (£10/month rather than £15/month).

I guess you could say it's worth the extra £5/month for a foam 'carrier' than you know people have had success with, as I guess the foam itself is an important factor in how well the stuff absorbs.

Thanks for posting that link, I had no idea that stuff existed...I notice you only get 120ml as a 3 month supply, so unless they can demonstrate that their foam is 'carried' more effectively, i might stick with the rogaine stuff...it's just as cheap per ml
