First time thread. I’m currently in the process of planning to get away from the high price salon and go solo. I’ll be getting myself a Swiss lace with an all poly perimeter (wear my hair down) I believe this is what I currently wear from my salon, but my question is, I’m not sure what their process is behind close doors (They went in another room with my hairpiece when removed). They used a glue to put on my head around the perimeter, but I’m not sure if they put any tape on the system also? I’m an extended wearer so I get around 3-4 weeks before going back for a refit.
Any advice would be appreciated, do I use a tape on the poly perimeter? Shall I just start using tape on its own? Or just glue? What brands are people using also? Is a poly perimeter good for someone who wears down?
