Hi, was ok for the first while, but the past couple of weeks, I havn't been hot, or doing much, but I get the biggest sweat patches under my arms, and can feel it dripping down during the day.

Is this a side effect of finasteride? is there any way of avoiding this maybe if I try taking finasteride at night or something it won't be as bad? it's starting to drive me mad, my EX girlfriend, lol, was like ewwww one night aswell, that's never happened before.

Please help,
Sweaty bloke.

Perhaps a form of "reflex hyperandrogenicity" due to finasteride, where your hormones (particularly androgens, after being blocked) swing back the other way to extremely high levels.

"Reflex hyperandrogenicity not only involves an increase in testosterone
levels, but an increase in androgen sensitivity. E.g., a gross increase in local androgen receptors is reported with finasteride. This causes the tissue to become more sensitive to other androgens besides DHT itself."

hmmm... I honestly sweat so much yesterday, then all of a sudden I dried up and it stopped. But today there has been none as I didn't take finasteride today until just now, so i'll see how I get on tomorrow morning!!

I sweat like hell recently, but then i'm also on SSRI anti depressants (sertraline) which is annoying as any side effects I get I don't know if it's the Sertraline or the finasteride.

I really don't know what to do, My armpits sweat so much more than usual I use to hardly never sweat now 5 months into propecia sweat like crazy and in my hands feet and back, I am afraid it might be due to some hormonal imbalance this is the only side effect I have at the moment but I really don't want to quit finasteride as there is no other alternatives out there
