did your whole scalp thin at once or did it start at the vertex and hairline and work in? And how long was your hair before it went bald, and did you wear a hat often or stay inside a lot?
I'm suspecting that UV rays can reach the scalp more easily right at the hairline and vertex, but not the top center, and that this might be why hair loss starts here. I don't think UV light causes hair loss, but I wonder if it speeds it up in people who are going to go bald. If I can find some people who kept their scalp away from rays but thinned everywhere simultaneously, that would disprove my suspition.
