Anyone else doing this? As well as more specific treatments like beta-sitosterol, Finasteride or Ketaconazole, just grabbing a TON of positive supplements and giving your body a boost?

As well as my multivitamin and Omega 3 I just grabbed MSM and will get coenzyme A (whether as a single tablet or by ensuring my body has the "building blocks" of it - ATP, Cysteine and B5). MSM is supposed to be great for thick hair and Coenzyme A reduces sebum (among many other great effects, from what I've read), meaning the follicles don't struggle quite as much to fight the DHT and push through the scalp!

What supplements would you recommend? :)

Wow you're right I never saw ones like that before...

There are also ones specifically for hair.
I think they could make a huge, huge difference. It's like giving your body every building block for good hair it could ever need, reducing the DHT and sebum, and then letting it go nuts! Tell me THAT won't work!!!

Ok now it's just a matter of finding the best tablet possible! Sorry I know I'm getting all carried away here, but I'm so excited at feeling so close to not only hitting this on the head (no pun intended!) but actually possibly ending up with BETTER hair than before! rofl

I'm trying to be a little cautious which I choose though. For example, that ebay one lacks MSM, which apparently is very good (I'm unsure how it's made though, so perhaps the raw components are there anyway). Additionally, the first link you gave me contains Green Tea, and I am quite wary of that after hearing it actually INCREASES dht.

I will have another good search tomorrow :)

Yeah I mean I really like the look of that ebay one but... I really want to make sure I get some MSM in there... give my body enough chance to make Coenzyme A... there's just SO many things that help so it can be hard to know what balance to try to throw together inside yourself!

I guess the best idea is just to get as many as possible, and gauge their effects on the health and "productivity" of your hair follicles! :)
