Styling effects of S5 cream and Rogaine

One thing I haven't seen discussed much---what do these products do to your hair in terms of styling? I'm a guy who gets out of the shower, towel dries my hair, and goes. I don't use any gel or hair products, and it looks pretty good that way. What does Rogaine do to your hair's texture once you put it on? Is your hair crusty or greasy for the rest of the day, or does it dry normally? Same question for S5--does it dry and disappear after an hour or so, or does it give you the "wet look" all day long?

Hey Isaac,
For me, Rogaine foam acts a lot like mousse (sp?). It lets you style your hair and then dries in place. Minoxidil liquid you can apply, and then comb your hair, this provides a slight styling effect as well.

S5 cream is kinda like wax/paste for me. I apply it all over and it stiffens my hair a bit. S5 def will not give you a wet look all day long but I think rogaine foam will.

Why would you apply S5 all over if all you need is a thin layer on the scalp - not hair.
It's not a styling gel

Hmmm....that sounds like it'd be hard to deal with. My hair is so light and fine that I absolutely can't use mousse or gel in it or it separates into clumps and looks totally transparent. Does anyone know how long you have to leave this stuff in for it to do it's job? Can I rinse the crustys out after a couple hours?
