I got a nice (120% density) mono unit w/ PU (def not UTS) surround.
WOW!
I'm sure this is an "obsolete" non-fine-welded etc form of unit, as the material is literally untearable.
The knots are all double everywhere. I was shortsighted in getting poly perimeter as it does nothing for me. I'm not a tape user. At best the hairs will break & show in the plastic.
Plucking the mono at the hairline would be ideal. Wall of hair, just as with every unit.
Great ventilation. Don't feel uncomfortable at all, despite the thick poly. To be sure, I found UTS a little suffocating without excercise/extended wear.
Unlike UTS, thick poly works amazingly well in tandem w/ Got2B. I applied a generous, quick layer to my 6x9 spot, roughly, and the whole unit - poly & mono - are stuck gorgeously. This is, to date, the strongest grip I've gotten from Got2B - it's probably the poly, as lace materials cling well, but not so nicely at the edges.
Thick density, robust unit = no worry about Got2B frequent de/re as losing hair as a result. As a matter of fact, I've never seen a stronger unit. Washing it, I didn't lose a hair!
