Studies on how long Minoxidil works for?

I've seen some users on here state that minoxidil only works for around 2-3 years. Is there truth behind this or is this just another hair loss myth. I've tried to look for some studies, but I haven't been able to find any. Anyone have any link or input?

You're still balding without finasteride or dutasteride, so there will be a point where you'll be back to baseline and worse.
