Hey guys, havn't posted here in a while, I have been waiting 2 months to go see a dermatologist to get on some finasteride and come to find out the Army doesn't pay for the crap!! WOW, sux... and I refuse to pay 240$ per bottle. So far my regimine consists of 5% Rogaine Foam (2x daily), I take fish oil, Saw Palmetto extract 160mg 2x daily, Centrum Silver, L-Lysine 2000mg daily and I stopped taking Biotin 5000mcg because I am experimenting and I think that crap was causing hair loss to get worse . I need some inexpinsive remidies, that you can find at your local drug store because right now I am not in the US and its hard to come by any good hair salon products that regrow hair like nizoral. Does anybody have any remedies such as oils , or I don't care if its massaging my head and fingernails 8x daily lol. Plz, help out. THANX!

You can get FINCAR or PROSCAR(which are the same thing as Propecia, only generic) at inhousepharmacy.com for MUCH cheaper than Propecia.

The active ingredient in Propecia is finasteride, and it contains 1 mg in each pill. FINCAR contains 5 mg finasteride per pill, so if you quarter than you can get a dosage of 1.25 mg. A months supply costs about $8-$10.

Or if you don't want to do that ask your doctor about Proscar(also 5 mg finasteride) and see if you would be able to get that.

yes...yes it does regrow hair.

There are studies that compared it to 2% rogaine.

"Nizoral shampoo has shown to be beneficial in men suffering from androgenic alopecia. Yup, From what Ive seen Nizoral does regrow hair.

I was on Minoxidil for 4 months before I went on Propecia and I noticed alot of growth in those 4 months, at 5 1/2 months with Propecia for month ive noticed even more growth.

I've always used nizoral under the impression that it's effective against male pattern baldness.
