It seems like everyone from my family has suffered from male pattern baldness and are all bald. My father to start is NW5, his brother is with diffuse thining, my grandfather from mother's side - Norwood 7 :freaked: and my other two uncles diffusive NW3 and 4.
Even my mother is kind of NW2 hairline with thin hair in front.
So guys I'M LOST...
I have the male pattern baldness gene and the future isn't shiny.
I'm only 20 and things already started for me, I'm thining in front and some receeding temples. Started a regimen since 6 months almost with finasteride and the last month switched to Proscar 1.25mg ED. I use also Nizoral 2% 3-4 times in the week, multivitamins, fish oil and shampoo with essential oils - lavender/orange/rosemary and some more. I am adding Rogaine 5% in the next days and Tricomin too ASAP. So what is your opinion, should I stick with this regimen or jump on dutas and xandrox, because of my male pattern baldness gene. I think to stick with it and give it one year. How do you think ?
