I read this quote somewhere..."An unproven theory is that stress can cause [the early onset of male pattern baldness] by increasing the production of sex hormones in the body." How would stress increase sex hormones?
So...stress can lower testosterone levels? I've read in several place that low testosterone increases the rate of male pattern baldness because the body will produce more DHT to compensate for the loss of T. Soooo... could hair loss be accelerated by stress in this way?
Of course hair loss can be accelerated by stress - its a known fact that stress has a direct relation with hormone excretion in the body, its a no-brainer actually.
