Strange thinning pattern...what is this?

strange pattern indeed but what isnt strange when it comes to losing your hair? I have thick hair strands but I still keep losing thickness over the years and my hair grows super slow. losing your hair isnt simply sensitivity to DHT/T it can be other underlying causes. but your case looks like a baldspot is gonna form. GL to whatever treatment you choose.

Yes I agree baldness is coming like the cold dark winter...haha I do have an underlying medical issue and my body was incredibly stressed for last full year and this patch came out of nowhere.... so I was hoping it would thicken now that my body is healing
But can't take chances: I hate medication and I know it has sides but I'm on finasteride .25mg ED for a week already convincing myself I have chest pain, an irritation in which I'll lose my mind, groin pain and heart palpitations.....yeah... Terrified but I'm too insecure to go bald... haha

if side effects ends up being too bad then try topical finasteride, heck maybe even dutasteride.

So far 5 days at 0.25mg. No sides just nocebo! I won't go thin without a fight. I want sone regrowth too. Maybe breezula or RU are options. Just gotta maintain til we get a breakthrough.
elon musk has two transplants. Shocked he's focused on Mars when he's got real life down to earth human problems...his priorities are off

Sounds good. What is your regimen? Do you think topical finasteride is better?
I have bottles of Duasteride. I, originally thought topical would be sufficient, but it hardly moved the needle. I started investing it & saw much better results..
You can start lower doses… I also started injesting minoxidil after years of nothing results topically. Injesting works better.. The sides can be dealt with. Testosterone patches i.e…..

Do You inject minoxidil or take it oraly?
For me. I have it in powder form. I bought a kilo of minoxidil sulfate. when I thought that must be the cure. At first I just mixed it into a liquid & eye droppered it over scalp, but for me It didn’t do much of anything, despite the scientific studies.
Then when a guy in these forums who I respect, and is IMO quite brilliant in his thinking said he was taking minoxidil orally & seeing results, I rethought my view. I had tried 10mg pills of minoxidil before & sliced them in 4’s as is the “safe” dose for someone not prescribed. But No results. So I now have a microscooper spoon which scoops out 10/15 mg & I dump it into a liquid, stir it & drink it.
I notice the louder heartbeats, but if I have a sip of water, it seems to dissipate.
So I’m using a higher dose than before & I’m seeing some thickening of hairs.
Imo, we guys have to do something.
Women do absolutely nothing & their hair is thick & flowing. We work out, eat healthy & our hair just falls out & recedes & stops growing. I feel the follicles are there just in a dormant state.
