I am 21 years old, and started losing my hair as I turned 17. I had really thick hair, but over the past few years i have lost alot of hair. I still have a great amount of hair, but if the shedding does not stop very soon, I will probably end up bald.
So the question is, i have been on finasteride (proscar 1,25mg) for almost 7 months, 2 months on, 1 month off, and now on for 5 months. I also did rogaine for 3 months. The shedding has not stopped, should I continue using finasteride or should I stop?
I read about ppl that had their shedding stopped the first months, so to me it seems like finasteride doesn't have any effect..
