What, no mice were used? That's more shocking than anything else in that article... including the one turd in the comments that said this:

Sorry, but erectile dysfunction is not exactly high on a list of priorities when you have prostate cancer, especially when most cases are well past 60. Avoiding death is far more of a priority. My father died of prostrate cancer and I doubt if he gave any thought to the function of his penis at any point after the diagnosis.

Because apparently what's not important to someone is not important to anyone else.
