Stay shaved during treatment?

Hey everyone, I'm a 34 y.o. "newbie" here :)

I currently shave my head d/t thinning on top but have stumbled upon this website and it's great! I appreciate all the wisdom I've gleaned from here. So I've decided to give a "go" and see what happens. Fortunately I am quite thankful that I look "good" bald, but I do confess I'd like to see my head with hair again :)

Here's my question- d/t the shedding phase, etc. what if I keep shaving my head for the next year during my "program" and then try to regrow it? I'm thinking that the more direct skin exposure the better.

Here's my planned program: propecia, tricomin, nizoral, and rogaine.

Despite having two shampoo products do you think this would still be OK? Thanks so much in advanced!

Shaving your head will undoubtedly make Rogaine application easier. it's difficult to apply when you have longer hair. I'd use the foam if I were you, the new Rogaine Foam. It dries very fast and you can get it cheap at Wal-Mart. it's supposed to be more effective than the liquid as well. If you don't keep it shaved then at least keep it buzzed to make sure the Rogaine gets to the scalp.

Propecia is good, so is Nizoral.

What's the second shampoo you are taoking about? The Tricomin spray is the effective Tricomin product, not the shampoo. I'd buy the spray and use it once per day along with Propecia every day, Rogaine foam, twice a day, and Nizoral every 3 days. That would be a good regimen.

Good luck.

tricomin

Actually I was talking about Tricomin Shampoo. I thought that had the "copper elements" as well. That's good to know about the spray, I'll save some money!

So the foam supposedly works better? I guess I can still put that on a shaved head. I may try it. Thanks.

Shampoo is worthless compared to the spray because you wash it out, but the spray stays in your hair, and it's much more potent. Def go with the spray once a day if you use Tricomin. 10-15 sprays I think? Look what the bottle says.

Foam is better because you can just rub it in and it absorbs better than a liquid. ANd it was found to be more effective. It dries a lot faster too, but on a shaved head thats not m uch of a concern.
