Statrted finasteride Apr2014 and minoxidil on Jan2014

My hair started to recede at 23 and i just noticed that only on 25. now i am 28 and now only started treatment on Jan 2014 finasteride 1mg daily and minoxidil 5% two times a day.when i start finasteride i noticed lot of shedding for 2 weeks and after one month my shedding stopped only 10 to 15 only.still no regrowth but some thickening of hair.

you usually do not see results for months. I started taking dutasteride on March 17th and the last two weeks my hair loss has slowed very significantly as well.

I started finasteride around the same time and I noticed the same thing. Ppl say that finasteride just thickens existing hair but the studies indicate it regrewt hair. We might just be watching our hair too closely, just sit back and let finasteride do its thing
