I too have wondered what the role of estrogen in in hair growth/loss. Estrogen increases as men get older and hair gets worse. Also the 5-ARIs don't seem to work super well forever. I've heard of men using SERMS or AIs to help with hair loss, but the literature implicates them in causing hair loss, at least in women.
