Hi all,
I am 28, and have noticed my hair thinning slightly in the crown, as well as receeding in the front (pretty typical pattern). I consider myself lucky since my dad had some significant hair loss by the time he turned 20, so I am not entirely concerned. With some good styling, I can pretty much cover up the fact that I am balding.
I am not too interested in starting on Propecia or Rogaine quite yet, primarily because I am on a tight budget and am not at the point where I want to risk side effects. I started on Nizoral today and was wondering what you would all suggest as a treatment to pair it with? I have been reading some good things about Revita shampoo and was thinking of giving it a shot. Do you have any other suggestions of what to start on?
I am not quite to the point where I am really looking to regrow hair, it is more keeping the hair I have and possibly thickening it up a bit. I know Propecia would be the best for that, but what's my second best option? I have read enough to know that treating it early is the best defence.
Thanks!
