Hey I guess ive been thinning hair for a while now and havn't noticed, but trying to salvage my hair before it's too late! Reading about rogaine and how you have to use it forever - if it helps regrow new hair, why does hair thinning comeback when you stop it?

currently switched to an all natural shampoo and a conditioner, but I think i need to hit the big guns.

Also been reading about regenpure but can't tell how much of it is a gimmick, is regenpure a good product? lotta pages talk about ketoconazole helping stop dht which is supposedly what causes hair loss. hoping to use regenpure+rogaine and save my head :( (i guess i also need something for my white hairs?)

Male pattern baldness is chronic. You need to keep treating it if you want to keep your hair. It's well worth it, if it saves your hair, don't you think?
Rogaine will not do much in the long run, by which I mean post 2 years max. If you really want to "hit the big guns" you should start finasteride. If you have moderate thinning, you should start it in combination with rogaine.

If your next post is gonna be like: "Nah man, I don't want to lose my dick/my muscle gains/my mental abilities because of finasteride", you have been polluted with scare mongering garbage. A small minority get serious side effects let alone lingering side effects after discontinuation. This is proven scientifically and is not some anecdotal bull**** from the internet. Just be a man, take the "risk" and never take hair for granted ever again.

ketoconazole or regenpure will keep your scalp healthy and clean for optimal hair growth conditions, but alone, they do basically nothing.

right on, do i need a prescription to get finasterstide? could i get it from a regular doctor or do i need to get referred to a specialist?

would rogaine in combination with regenpure be a good solution? what about rogain+ this purador thing? it seems to be the best rated product on amazon (can't link it cus im a new member) it's called Pura d'or Hair Loss Prevention Premium Organic Shampoo

otherwise i noticed ur regimen has ketoconazole monday and friday, so maybe i can do rogaine twice a day everyday and nizoral shampoo monday and friday?

also ill try to "stress less" and give my self scalp massages and move my scalp with the "scalp exercises" (I am able to move my scalp) :) lol (btw i was reading about nizoral helping hair loss with its ketoconazole in an article here on this website actually).. ill be off to walmart and walgreens in a bit!

btw guys heres a pic of what i got going on, does it look like male pattern baldness to you or what do you think/recommend?

damn i never realized how bad it looks til i took a pic :( i kinda been thinking its been thinning last few years...BUT I DIDNT KNOW!! :(

Diffuse thinning for sure. That sucks.

going to shampoo with nizral and then use rogaine right now :) do u really think its genetics? i feel like it has to do with when i took psych meds for 10 years and went in circles wanting to end my life (the psychiatric system is very dark and they dont make billions by helping people) but i got out of that and found my own way of looking at the world and thinking about things and am doing EXCELLENT now in comparison with 0 medication and 0 condescending advice from under qualified nurses and wannabe therapists. they told me if i stopped my meds i would breakdown and possibly be committed for life, 3 years later I am doing better than I have ever been in my life especially the 10 years in their clutches.

also i never really conditioned my hair in the last 25 years cus i used the 2 in 1 crap all the time (bad idea i hear).

kk enough talk lets get this show on the road!!

also i live in a pretty cheap apartment, hoping the low quality water from shower isn't contributing to hair loss :( but i did get a new shower head recently...

At least it isn't as obvious, I think I would rather be a diffuser than a receding hairline. Though thinning does come...eventually....the horror...
Minoxidil and finasteride are easy to come by, In-house pharmacy is good.

You can buy it in house or get a script and a little more piece of mind, since you are sure it is legit.
Hairloss is not related to how often you use conditioner, or if you do at all.
Just don't use ketoconazole more than twice a week since it can make your hair dry and in rare cases more brittle.

That's what I said until mine turned into diffuse thinning. Diffuse thinning is definitely worse.
