Starting regimen: minoxidil/Xandrox questions

Hey all. I'm planning my regimen and am trying to make a decision on what measure of minoxidil to use. I'm new at this, so my questions may be stupid, but here they are:

- Is starting on an elevated dose of minoxodil (say, 15% Xandrox or 5% minoxidil) worse shed-wise than lower doses? Should I start with, say, 2% and then work my way up?

- What is the difference between Xandrox 5% and Minoxidil 5%? Is it that the Xandrox contains a DHT inhibitor?

Can't help you too much because i'm not very familiar with Xandrox, but minoxidil does not contain a DHT inhibitor, take finasteride if you're looking for that....if i had to GUESS i would say that the stronger dosage wouldn't actually increase your shedding all that much, but i'd start at the lower dosage anyways to see how your hair reacts
