Starting one...should I add more?

Hey all, I'm a 23 year old guy who's starting to notice diffuse thinning on top of my head. I went to a derm yesterday and she saw what I saw and gave me 1mg propecia and told me to see how that went for 3 months.

From what I've been reading though...should I do the "big 3"? I bought a month of rogaine foam and it's sitting in my bathroom in case I want it. Should I start using both? Should I add nizoral? If I start using minoxidil and I don't absolutely need it, will my hair become dependent on it and fall out if I stop?

I'm blonde and have always had longish hair, so right now you can't see the thinning unless I've recently come out of the shower or am right under a bright light (when it just gets really, really bright blonde relative to the sides). It's starting to show a little in the hairline, but basically this isn't an emergency. Should I wait to see if the finasteride will do the trick on its own or just say "screw it" and throw in the minoxidil? and with nizoral, does it replace my regular shampoo or do I take them in conjunction?

Hey Celts, The choice is yours of course, so do it the way that makes you most comfortable. You are young and can afford to trial slowly at first. Out of the 3 finasteride. seems to generally be the most effective over all statistically speaking. Then there are guys that hate it. Jf you get sides at least you'll have the other s to potentially fall back on. If you are able to take pics its always a plus and then you will have your baseline as a useful comparison model for later on. Keep us updated and best wishes.
