Starting finasteride

Hey guys took my first finasteride tablet this time yesterday. The pharmacy gave me 5mg in tiny round blue pills so its difficult to cut. It's not like the proscar ones which are a little bigger, I don't think cutting into 5s is even possible with this pill so i took 1.25mg the first day and the plan of attack is 1 pill every 2 days since i read somewhere on here that the half life is long enough to do that which works out at 0.625 a day i think.

What do you guys think of this regime? I've also got minoxidil i apply at night.

Im pretty sure that taking it every other day is not as effective, I'd just take 1.25 every day.

5ar enzymes are inhibited permanently, it takes a few day to produces more 5ar, so every other day should be fine in theory

nop i tried but i got sides, im thinking trying again at 0.25 twice a week maybe...

There was a guy(mpb47) on BTT that took took finasteride and got sides. Then lowered his dose to .25mg a few times a week and was able to get results without the sides. You should give it a shot. If I ever do get sides, I will try taking a smaller dose before giving it up totally.

First finasteride side effects which i assume are the initial side effects people get and ride through em. Watery jizz, Erections don't seem as hard, Lowered libido things that use to get me hard aren't kicking in any hormones down there. Based on other peoples storys these should subside, Did you get them notcoolanymore?
