Ive just purchased 3 month supply of minoxidil after being on finasteride for 10 months and duta for 6 without any regrowth and perhaps slightly further thinning (although recession is still classed as minor). Any advice on applying, what results are likely to be seen and how long anything really as I have put off using this product as I felt it would be a lot of hassle however many seem to think otherwise.

Is it necessary to apply twice a day or is one enough seen people say 1 is fine get irritation otherwiseI would add dermarolling before applying at night, give it 6-12 months.

Once at night is fine imo, topical minoxidil always used to make my hair look like crap after applied anyway so i only used it at night before bed.

Just use it on the affected areas, i only used foam because i was terrible at using liquid, foam is much easier to use.Good luck.

I've taken finasteride and min for 11 months. I dermaroller occasionally at 1.5mm depth but always with at least 2 week gap.
I went from a thinning NW3 to a highly acceptable NW2 and seem to still be regrowing.
I do min once a night about an hour before bed
Don't mind the initial shed, that means its working.

How long did it take to see some results? I am three months in and see lots of baby hairs. However, the do not seem to turn into real hair!
