Started Propecia 1 month ago - How long for itch to go away?

Hi - I'm 23 and you can get an idea of my hair loss here - viewtopic.php?f=11&t=59756

I've been on propecia for just over 4 weeks, 1mg day, and I've been using nizoral on the top of my head + my temples 2/3 times a week. However I'm still get an itch every so often on the thinning areas at the top of my head. Should this have gone away by now? Does this suggest propecia isn't having too great an effect?

Edit: thought I'd add, no sides at all, hopefully stays that way.

The itch you're having may or may not be related to the hairloss. Some people see regrowth and the itch never goes away--hinting that it's something else.

As for me, mine seemed to be directly correlated. After 3 months the itch seemed to subside almost completely...it still flares up a little sometimes, but not too often and it isn't as bad as it was in the 3-4 months before I finally made myself get on finasteride.
