I started my oral spironolactone journey. I'm excited to see where this brings me. I hate messing with my body though because I have perfect blood pressure and normal-high androgen levels. My Doctor at my last physical said my blood test results and blood pressure were the best he had seen in years. He said I must have great genes. Yeah, if only my hairline got that memo... My maternal grandfather's hairline got the memo. I missed it though. I will be sure to keep you all updated. My posts on the spironolactone guys blog will contain the most info. My comrade auglenny uses hlh so this is an inter-forum effort that has manifested itself on our blog. I will update this thread accordingly.

And mods, please feel free to move my thread to another forum if you see fit. I'm not sure which forum is the best one for a running results thread.

I pray that you don't suffer bad sides from it. As big of a finasteride supporter as I am....oral spironolactone is something that I'm 99% sure I would never touch.

Keep us posted on what's going on.

Yes I will definitely keep you posted with any big news. Check my blog for all updates. I have tiny hairs growing in my hairline corner that I thought were from minoxidil but apparently not since I have been off it for over nine weeks and they're still there. Hopefully spironolactone will thicken these. Remember that I have been on finasteride since April 2011 too. I will never go bald! I don't think I'm destined to be bald but I'll probably be like my dad and his dad and get a thin patch in my crown later in life. The hairline recession shows that I'm vulnerable to it. I can point out guys my age who are likely to lose hair later in life and guys that won't lose their hair. That is pretty much hammered out in your 20s.
