The reason i ask about its interaction with finasteride..is b/c it affects a certain hormone that supposedly speeds up the absorbtion of certain meds and decrasese their efficacy...it kinda works in the OPPOSITE manner of grape fruit juice....I wasnt sure if it affected finasteride tho...
Anyone else?

Cassin said:I took it with finasteride during a rough spell and I personally had no issue nor could I find any interactions and I tried to find info regarding the two combined, nothing.
lain said:drinking st johns wort tea right now. Plus in the morning I take a 3600 strength pill.
I dont see any difference then when I used to take St Js wort without finasteride...
I also told my Doctor that I am taking StJW when he was prescribing the finasteride and he said its alright.
