I am interested in trying a topical dht blocker as I can't get finasteride and have had issues with its side effects. Where does one buy a topical dht blocker? I heard spironolactone/S5 cream is popular, but can't find it on amazon. Any leads/advice on this matter is appreciated. I plan on using revivogen shampoo and an assortment of vitamins and supplements whenever I figure out a way to buy a good dht blocker.

Yeah, I saw it there, but the price seemed high. Additionally, I just wanted to have other sources for purchasing it. Thanks all!

I think topical spironolactone is generally considered to be very weak

Yeah, some people swear by it while others think it's worthless. I am looking for a dht blocker that won't negate my sex life. Having said that, it seems like a topical dht blocker is best. I am thinking spironolactone or revivogen. Any thoughts on those two or other alternatives?

Also, I'm still curious as to where else I can purchase besides this site.

finasteride wont negate your sex life. I am taking .5mg dutasteride daily and haven't seen any sides beyond a little acne. The chances are low that you will have any side effects on finasteride, and if you did they would go away when you stop taking it. Topical DHT blockers are weak besides maybe RU. You will still lose your hair most likely

I hear what you are saying, but I had some issues with my man meat when on finasteride. I would like to get on it again, but my doctor won't put me back on it. Don't know where else to get finasteride safely.

Anyone else have suggestions for a good dht blocker that can be purchased without a prescription?

if you don't want to use finasteride than your only real option is RU + minoxidil. Or you could go with the castration + minoxidil regimen which is very effective

I don't want to sound like a rookie, but what is RU? I have some minoxidil left. After a year with no results, I gave up on it. My baldness is the temples (jack Nicholson kind)

I am willing to try it again in conjunction with a topical dht blocker.

RU58841 is a topical with low efficacy that blocks both DHT and T in the scalp, for that reason it is not taken orally. Because it has low efficacy it is generally mixed at home weekly. It is expensive, It can cost up to 3 dollars a day depending on how much you use. It's exact effectiveness is unknown but it is generally regarded to be as effective as propecia. If you want to get it you will need to look up where to get it and how to make it. There are less risks of side effects with RU because it is a topical than propecia.

Thanks man, I appreciate the advice and help. This narrows down my treatment options. Now to figure out a good shampoo to go with the topical.
