so i have been looking around and have yet to discover the right way to make an effective spironolactone solution, i am confused with the carrier, i noticed the one at genhair uses 50% alcohol and 20% PG is this effective? can someone please chime in, as my hairline (and many others hairlines) would be greatly appreciative.

The most effective carrier for spironolactone has been shown in studies to be a cream base, not an alcohol base. With that being said, I wouldn't trust anything made by genhair, at least not their liquid solutions. They have a supposedly 15% "ultra strong" minoxidil solution, which in my opinion cannot even be a true solution due to the ratio of ingredients...mostly water it seems.
Buy a neutral cream (dermovan etc.) and add 7 or 8 finely crushed 100mg spironolactone tablets with maybe a dash of alcohol and there you go, it's as simple as that from what I've read on this forum.

A really good idea would be to just buy it. Its not even expensive and probally gonna be more effective if a Dr. makes it

yeah i might just buy it, seems like so much uncertainty in making your own, how much is it for dr.lees and how long does it last.

its like 30 bucks and lasts me 2 months. You really just need to use it sparingly a little goes a long way.
