Exactly what is spironolactone and where can one obtain it ? Do you need a prescription ? Is it a pill or a topical ? And finally, is it effective and why? Answers are much appreciated.

It is a topical anti-androgen that I think you get a precription for it. Its effectiveness is still kinda unknown. I have seen regrowth in my regimen though.

%2 or %5 spironolactone?...i don t have any idea about spironolactone..but of course %5 is stroger(?)..so why do people generally use %2?..what kind of side effects?..

the 5% is the cream which most people use I think. The 2% is the solution or whatever. Maybe its easier to use.

and the 5% cream at temples.
