spironolactone. Which one to use / Can it give you sides like finasteride?

What spironolactone would I rather use?
The 2% liquid, or the 5% lotion.
I've never used a topical antiandrogen, and i've read of a few good comments about spironolactone, and its not very pricey either, so i'm willing to give it a shot.

Also, could it be possible to get sides from such topicals?
