I read an article on this site that spironolactone reduces the size of sebaceous glands

So does this mean that it could reduce the oiliness of the scalp?

Has anyone who has used it experienced this?

Yes, anything that reduces the size of sebaceous glands will also reduce the amount of oil secreted.

spironolactone has a relatively short half life and would need to be applied 2 - 3 times a day for you too really reduce oil. I used to use spironolactone once a day and didnt notice any significant decrease in sebum production.
