This sucks but, apparently spironolactone has been shown to nearly negate the effects of Prozac, and all other SSRIs. Atleast, thats what I got out of what I researched. I kind of am in a mental state where the prozac is very necessary.. But, spironolactone would've been an amazing thing if I could use it to keep the hair I have.
For those who don't know me (I've posted on here several times) I'm 16, therefore too young for finasteride. I'm trying to keep what I've got until I can try propecia.
Any suggestions?
I'm drinking black tea every day, using Rogaine, a DHT Inhibiting shampoo, and I'm generally a very healthy 16 year old. Work out almost daily, eat pretty healthy.
Unforunately I happen to be a swimmer, which means my hair is regularly being tugged on by chlorinated water, so, I'm sure that hasn't exactly helped anything, and may actually be speeding up my hair loss. I don't know. Just looking for something more I could add that may help.
