spironolactone - how much?

I'm picking up my first delivery of spironolactone at the post office tomorrow and was I wondering how much I should apply in any one particular area each day - I'm mainly thinking of the crown area. Can you apply too much (akin to taking 2 Propecia pills a day for example - not an accurate comparison granted) or too little?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I usually apply decently thick amount on my fingers to the center of my scalp, the front, and the back sides. I've been doing this for almost 8 months without any side effects.

Great to hear you have no side effects. Do you wear your hair short? Mine is pretty long so some of the cream does not end up on my scalp.

Is using spironolactone proving effective for you?

One thing I notice is a warm, burning feeling when I apply spironolactone to my scalp - is that a growth stimulant producing that effect, eg caffeine?
