Lookin for some assistance for this spironolactone situation. Been on finasteride/nizoral the past 6 months and hair is substantially worse. Looking to throw some other products in the mix.

1. What companies sell spironolactone?

2. Where can I get Revivogen, Tricomin, and Toppik?

3. How long do I have to let it settle before I can wash my hair?

4. Any advantages/disadvantages of the lotion versus liquid?

5. Any positive or negative expieriences?

6. For those with shaved or nearly shaved heads does it leave any detectable discoloration?

THANKS

Ill tell you what I know. Others can chime in with corrections or additions.

1) Dr. Lee on http://www.minoxidil.com, the folks at http://www.lipoxidil.com, and http://www.Genhair.com

2) You can get Revivogen at http://www.Revivogen.com, http://www.Tricomin.com at http://www.Procyte.com, and the makers of Toppik sell it at http://www.toppik.com.

3) As long as possible. Like ... immediately after a shower and let it sit for 24 hours. The goal is to leave it there and let it do its thing. Dr. Lee says it requires one application every 12 hours as well. So twice a day.

4) Just the obvious. Different types of consistencies affect application results.

5) Lots of supporting clinical data should give you the peace of mind.

6) No.

cool thanks for the response. I'm also worried about all this talk about how spironolactone smells. Do all those manufacturers smell equally bad or is there ones that don't smell?
