I didn't expect this spironolactone cream to smell so much but it does.

Even if its not put on 15 mins after minoxidil it smells.

The liquid is supposed to be worse isnt it? Doesnt it smell bad for any1 else? Bit of a shame really as its good to put on, but there is a stench. Im gonna stick with it though....

I use Dr. Lees and the cream does not smell at all. The liquid does have an odor after I put it in but hardly anything I can notice.

Here's the deal Andrew. EVERYONE who has tried the 2% can tell you that it does smell much worse. Maybe its because its a liquid, who knows. The 5% cream, which I have tried and will probably get back on, has a much milder odor. However, you must apply it properly. (1) You must wait a sufficient amount of time for your minoxidil to dry before applying, (2) If you perspire ANY after applying, it will stink (why it's best only at night - but not the nights you will be laying pipe), and (3) you should only apply a thin layer on the hairline/temples (do not gob it on there). These tips will minimize the foul odor. Dr. Lee's is the best quality spironolactone cream out there, so you have made a good choice. Just stick with it and try not to let it bother you. BTW, the results with spironolactone are much more subtle than minoxidil and it will probably take closer to 6 months before noticing any results.

im thinning all over so i should be applying all over right?? diffuse.

Also, if its doing the same thing as propecia just not systematically, surely the results shud be greater than minoxidil?
