Hi,

I am going to try to mix a couple of crushed proscar pills in a spironolactone 2% solution with 50% alcholol and 30% gly. Propecia. Any idea how much 5mg Proscar tablets I must crush in a 60ml spironolactone 2% solution?

Well, I have no idea but Bryan mentioned some study about topical finasteride, maybe he knows what concentration they tried. If you use 5mg finasteride in 60ml, it will give something between 5% and 10% mass percentage, I guess. But ask Bryan. Or find the topical finasteride study.

The problem with trying to add to a 2% spironolactone solution is that it is already maxed out(saturated) almost. You wont be able to add much more of anything to it.

I wouldnt add any more than 1 or 2 proscar tablets. If you use minoxidil as well you could put a few proscar tabs in there as well(say 4-5).

Maxed out? What happens when I crush 5 a 6 tablets in spironolactone? And how do you know it's maxed out?

Also 1 or 2 proscar tablets is how many mg (60ml)

Use Dermovan cream instead. Waseda used to make a spironolactone/finasteride topical from Dermovan.

Do a google search and you should find some info.
