Can I vote? I say Topical spironolactone over Crinagen. By leaps and bounds!

Or even better, Revivogen/Crinagen *with* spironolactone.

Yeah HairLossTalk.com, even better. An empty wallet, with little chance of success.

For me it is related to:

Price

Easier to apply

No need for an RX

Compound treatment-numerous fatty acids vs. one agent

The natural vs man made had no bearing on my decision.

and the smell had nothiing to do with it either, crinagen or spironolactone, ahhh i guess i am going to have to go with spironolactone to start, with folligen, nizoral and t-gel. if i start getting systematic side effects, i start absorbing, i have read about this with the use of spriol i'll hvae to go with crinagen and keep the fluridil, that being said which one should i start off with 2%, but i also read taht 5% is less smellier.

one more question what kidn of alcohol does spironolactone have.at what percent. any troubles using.

As always, I never suggest either or any of these treatments in the absence of Propecia/Rogaine. After you leave the happy realm of clinically proven treatments, spironolactone, Revivo/Crinagen/Tricomin/Folligen are the cream of the crop in the unproven world. Admittedly, there are no guarantees across the board in that world, but at least you'd be using the ones with the highest chance of results, and thats the most you can ask for in the complete absence of on-the-head trials.

Hey, Bob! This is at least the second time that I've seen you make such a cryptic post, criticizing something without really specifiying what you mean. Are you referring to spironolactone or Crinagen, or both? Could you enlarge on why you feel that way?

well i did use propecia and i was getting side effects, such as chest paiins and nipple sensations (not the pleasurable kind), but i am willing to give antoher small test run. at a small dosage at 0.25 mg. and see what happens, if something should happen i guess i am stuck with the topical route. is propecia effects cumulative. as in given enough days it will blaock as much as 1mg.

If you're going to do partial dosing, I would suggest nothing less than 0.5mg. See how you tolerate it. I wouldn't put much faith in 0.25.

Not at all. It goes on well and dries fairly quickly as compared with most other topicals.

OK Bryan, relax buddy. I don't want to take food off your plate.

But answer me this. I'm a typical balding guy. What odds do I have in keeping my hair or regrowing what I've lost with these products. NOt very good.

What's the chance I'm going to waste money and make my hair greasy and looking like sh*t and stinking. Very good.

Do you like my scientific answer.

What products are you specifically referring to? spironolactone? Crinagen? Revivogen? ALL of those? Do you EVER bother to specify exactly what you mean, without indulging in cryptic comments?

No I don't. Not the least little bit.
