When you look in the mirror and see something thats given you style and flare for the past 5 years dissappear day by day.

Im not leaving many walls unpunched..

The frustrating part is, so many god damn options you just don't know where to start. I can save my hair at this point, I have most of it, but for the past few months it's been shedding like a son of a b**ch. Im talking 250+ hairs a day.

finasteride/Dust.. no go for me. Period. There has to be shampoo's, before bed time topicals and stuff I can take for the next 20 years that will keep my hair. I want to save it, I just don't want to feel locked into something forever. I need a regimen, that I can replace my shampoo with, my conditioner with, and some late night topicals where I can skip a few nights. I mean I have most of my hair, surely I have more leniency.

Hey man you could defintely save the hair you have! Also you are EXTREMELY LUCKY that your doing something about your hair loss at an early stage. Some of us here will prob kill to have the hair you have now. I suggest you post some pics, so we can tell you the best topicals you could use!! Before you know it, treatment will be working for you and things will only get better. Your prob going through a minoxidil shed, so dont stress all that hair will come back thicker!!

PICS OF MY HAIR ATM:

My Front Veiw

My Mid Scalp

My Crown

Although to the common eye, my head doesn't look "bald", my temples have receded, and in the past 9 to 12 months, (im 21 now) especially the past few months I've been SHEDDING LIKE A LUNATIC. I can brush my hair with my fingers all day and keep picking up 10 to 20 hairs a brush. WHY??

My objective: I want my hairline back, I want my hair back to thick. I WON'T USE finasteride/DUST. Im currently on minoxidil for the past 2 weeks. I used it mid last year for 1.5 months and it regrew back my temples though my temples got a little worse after I stopped and the shedding went haywire all over my head including the SIDES!

At this rate, I'll be completely bald by end of this year. Will all this shedded hair grow back?? I haven't touched anywhere else but temples with minoxidil and its ALL shedded. I can't figure out why. Im losing hair TOO DAMN quick. Blood tests say everythings fine. Im clueless!

Also, I just started Nizoral 2% and everytime I use it, it feels like its killing more hair?

I want to start using shampoo's, topicals that aren't a big burden. Something to use easily, nothing to use in the morning because I don't have the god damn time to. At this stage, what will do what I want, or close to and keep it like that for the next 20 years? I don't care if I keep balding, but I want to bald at a VERY slow rate at least. First I want all my hair back and start balding from there, not from now.

I guess Im after the BEST shampoos, topicals all you guys can agree on. I want a growth stimulator in a shampoo, and an anti-DHT in topical. Or god damn it, even both in a shampoo. At least I can shampoo my whole head every day. Topicals get me depressed damnit.

Suggestions?[/img]

pics arent working.

If you start minoxidil you have to stick with it. If you stop and start, you will only make your hair worse. So decide now if you want to stick to it.

A good shampoo which fits your request is NANO shampoo (drproctor.com).
I will advise on a night topical once your pics are working.

hey i just checked out your pics. You should stick with minoxidil (twice a day). Also if your not going to use propecia, look into spironolactone, revivogen. If you only want to apply a topical once a day, look into revivogen or Proxiphen (the issue here is price). But it contains minoxidil, spironolactone ,SODs, copper peptides, TEMPO, PBN, etc.. Over a dozen active ingredients in all.

You are lucky you caught your hair loss early. Goodluck!!!

This is my recommendation:

Nizoral shampoo 2-3/x weekly
Minoxidil. Use whatever kind in the pm, and pick up some Dr Lee #500 for the mornings.
Copper Peptide Spray (Folligen or Tricomin)

Thanks Gardner.

Do you think using NANO shampoo will make a big difference?

Im thinking of this kind of regimen

NANO Shampoo 5x week
Revivogen 3x week
Nizoral 2% 3x week
Folligen spray (here and there)

Do you think a regimen like that will regrow some of my hair for now, thicken the already there, and most importantly keep it for years to come?

No, it wont. Unless you're a fantastic responder to NANO and nizoral. Here and there folligen doesnt stand much of a chance of giving any results, and revivogen only 3x a week won't have any effect whatsoever.

Results from revivogen are sketchy anyway... it's a dubious unproven treatment even if you use it daily.

You need to use something regularly for it to work. Sure, you can miss an application or two (all this will do is slow your response) but you cant miss them regularly

Im in the same about as you, same exact boat.

If you go about 3/4 of the way down the page and take a look at the fairly long post by "GotCharm", what he wrote is actually very compelling. I would be very interested in hearing what the results might be. It is of course is too soon to judge, but that post is definitely interesting.
