You're wrong, and it's easy to see why, at least if you think like I do:
All the treatments that we use right now have come out within the past 20 years. If you thin 15% as fast on finasteride as you would have otherwise, you can keep a reasonable head of hair, like below NW4 for 20 years. 20 years- two decades.
finasteride, dutasteride, minoxidil, spironolactone, all have come into being within the past 20 years. finasteride and dutasteride within the past 10 years. Imagine what will be out 20 years from now- probably third-generation HM by then which will be affordable, probably under 5k in present value dollars. Have a good shot at keeping what you have or most of it until then. If you're concerned about keeping what you have for the longest period of time then be on dutasteride 0.5 mg per day which should allow you to keep your present hair for decades. It is super strong. You're buying time with these meds- until new and better treatments come out, ones which should make baldness a choice.
