4 months on Finasteride and my shedding this morning was the worst I have ever seen it since I starting fighting male pattern baldness. This morning I washed my hair with nizoral shampoo and between the loss in the shower and styling my hair after, I must have saw 100 healthy thick hairs fall out. This is just in an hours time. This is very discouraging as I am 4 months in and the shedding should be stopping, not increasing. The scary thing is the fact the shedding has been worse than it ever has. Hair is definitely continuing to thin.

Im not sure if if the rogaine is doing anything, seeing that I've been using it for 8 months. I think it could honestly be causing lost but Im afraid to stop and shed from it.

Has anyone experienced this and come back from it? Anything I can add to help?

You really need to fight it with everything you can. I really mean that.

I mean, I would be in a much better position if I did this earlier in life, but I didn't.

@ForeverLacey is 100% correct. Start using anti androgens, and add hair growth. Expect
some mild shedding at first, but keep on fighting it.
