Some Believe

Some believe that hairloss is caused by a suseptable reaction to DHT, believing that some men are more sensitive to DHT than others, maybe so but consider this, most balding guys have acne and greasy skin a sure side of producing to much DHT. I feel that we as balding fellows are not only more suseptable to DHT but produce way more than our bodies can assimilate. So I refute this claim of being sensitive to DHT and rebutle with the fact that balding guys produce way to much DHT for their bodies to handle and suffer the side effects.

Thoughts on this?

this debate has been hashed out many times before you ever came to this forum

you cant oversimplify hairloss to levels of DHT and DHT sensitivity. DHT is only a trigger. Receptor sensitivity, immune response, inflammatory response, genetics etc all play a role.

I have little body hair and can barely grow whiskers but yet I have male pattern baldness. I havent had my DHT levels measured but I'll be they arent high. I dont have problems with acne or greasy skin.

Unfortunately, the issue is not simple.
