It seems there is really no clear answer to help the hairline. finasteride is more for the rest of the hair, minoxidil helps the crown but hasn't shown major help in the hairline, nizoral is nizoral, and the other natural remedies haven't proven much either.

I'm on finasteride right now, and want to address my hairline. So naturally minoxidil seems like the first step, but the headache of a messy daily application doesn't seem worth the small, if any, unproven results.

As for Nizoral, i'm still not sure where i stand on it.. when i use it, i find i get that tingly/itchy sensation afterwards everytime.. yet when i stop using nizoral, the tingly/itch goes away.

I've also thought about increasing my finasteride doseage (currently on 1.25mg every mon / wed / fri) as it has thickened the rest of my hair, so maybe an increase to everyday would help battle the tougher hairline area?

Is anyone else at a stalemate on how to fight the hairline?
