So, using keto increases effectiveness of dutasteride?



But then, it also states a list of drugs that will affect dutasteride, including any antifungal medication such as Ketoconazole.

So, should I stop using keto if I want maximum effect of dutasteride? I'm now taking 2 caps of dutasteride daily.

Upon further reading, dutasteride is metabolized extensively by CYP3A4 enzyme, whereas Ketoconazole is a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor, and they do have drug interaction.

So, better avoid using ketoconazole while on dutasteride?
