Been on min for 20 years and finasteride for almost 10 years. Held for a long time and now am loosing the fight again. I have the hair loss itch that heralds this process that has been going on for about 10 months now. The itch is so bad that I’m trying to see a pain specialist. Since then I’ve tried 5% topical spironolactone, 15% min, .1 finasteride, .25% hydrochordizone, estradiol and progesterone compound. Variant RU strengths, cb (presumed real) in various strenths, have been on dutasteride for about 8 months now, have had 3 prp treatments, llt treatment for 8 years, been dermarolling at 1.5 2 times a week for about 3 months, had copper peptide solution(kinda burned), cetrizine(just over the counter), put together zix compound, pumpkin seed oil, flaxseed oil, castor oil, saw pawlmetto, apple cider vinegar, and maybe a few I’m missing, but nothing kills that itch all the way. That itch is destroying my hair and me in he process. If I can kill the itch then I can control it.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here? Do I pray that dutasteride comes around after a years, seems like it took well over a year for finasteride to work, or is something like seti or pge2 good for controlling the itch? Just any suggestions would be appreciated. Sorry for the long post
