So I started Finast today

Hey all
Finally decided to start on finast (Fincar, generic). I'm cutting the 5mg tablets into 4. I'm pretty nervous about it, I guess reading as much as I can on the net has made me weary of potential side-effects. It's worth a try though. Anyways, as always, advice and personal opinions are always appreciated. Cheers.

I was nervous too but I'm 1 month in and no sides to speak of. The only thing that worries me now is that it won't work.

Sheds tend to happen around month 3-4 and regrowth (if it occurs) can happen anywhere from month 6 to more than a year after starting it.

I had my first shed on Finpecia during the 1st month but now I am almost completing 4th month and I see good hair thickening. So I would say 3-4 months after shed u can expect regrowth

I'm exactly the same,been on finasteride around 3 weeks and i'm seeing hair everywhere,even on the keyboard as i type!

Its all good though,shedding is a good sign your getting somewhere.
