If you have male pattern baldness, bloodtest don't really show it. If TSH is ok, than TSH is okay. Don't think Vitamin D has much to do with anything (especially if you don't post any details).

I'm no Doctro, but I'm pretty sure that Vitamin D is very important. Get more sun or take a supplement. I'm pretty sure it is important for hair too.

No need to worry. My vitamin d was low in a blood test and came back fine the next one i did. Sometimes levels go down but they usually back up again pretty quick. If your worried take a vitamin

Nah i wouldnt think much of it. I was told this is a common thing when taking blood. something to do with the needle or something can result in vit d looking low. If your out and about in the sun you get enough. Wouldnt have a major effect on hair.

This cardiologist writes alot of the effects he sees of Vitamin D supplementation, and they are pretty dramatic:

I started taking vitamin D a few months ago and have noticed not so much regrowth but some thickening of existing hair.

True, the sun causes your body to make Vitamin D but as you get older it is less efficient.

You have to make sure you use GELCAPS, not tablets, as gelcaps are much readily absorbed.

Hairloss as a result of a vitamin deficiency is wishful thinking.

but you should definitely have it investigated further. Everyone should get a full vitamin/mineral screening done, alot go undiagnosed and can cause some problems

besides, if it was due to a vitamin deficiency, wouldn't men and women both go bald equally?
If your chemistry comes back normal, there's really only one thing left it can be, and we all know what that is.

use a pin to make a hole in it and squirt it on your food. But I take a 5000 IU that is the size of a pea (NOW brand).

BTW, Vitamin D is not even a vitamin, it is a hormone, the name is a misnomer

It may or may not help your hair but its more for health, especially heart
