So I have been researching for finding my hairloss type. I was pretty sure that I am a diffuse thinner because I lose hair from all over my scalp. But in addition to that I am losing hair from my sides. So I diagnosed my self that I have DUPA. This means finasteride is not going to work on me... Damn I can't live with this feeling... What do you guys think? Photos are in my thread which can be found in my signature.

You can't diagnose yourself. DUPA is diagnosed by a hair surgeon looking at your donor area with a densitometer for signs of miniaturisation.
Well my sides are thinning, and you can see my scalp if I don't comb that place properly. I am confused sorry, I hope I don't have it.
No point self diagnosing. You would drive yourself crazy. Only a hair transplant surgeon with the right equipment can do the job for you or maybe a clued up dermatologist (again with the right equipment). Lots of people have slightly thinner hair on the sides.

I have diffuse also on top of male pattern baldness. I never noticed it until I zero guarded my hair.right beside my crown on both sides are thin running along the center areas. The crown looks like a hick patch of hair while surrounding follicles lack color quality
