So, how do the nanogen products stack up?

Like, how does their shampoo compare to a ketoconazole shampoo? And nanogaine to minoxidil, etc?

Nanogaine seems to reply on SODs, which is.. isn't that basically copper peptides? You'll have to excuse my ignorance on this one as topical treatments are relatively new to me!

They all seem to indicate... at least mild success. Onescalp seems interesting for example, but I think there's a fair chance I will have more luck with Regenepure.

Just wondered what experiences people have had with the nano products, as they don't really list full ingredients or anything which can make it quite tricky to gauge their effectiveness once you've stripped away all the sales talk! lol

Cheers guys,

Hoppi :)

I think it depends on what you want. I doubt any non-prescription product will be better than the prescription options, although Nizoral is not really a prescription drug for hair loss, the effect on hair loss is incidental.

I had a look at Nanogaine as an addition to my normal Minoxidil a while back so I've done a bit of research. SOD's aren't copper peptides, some of them are copper containing proteins so I guess sales-speak could call them that, but they aren't really. The idea is that they prevent the main reaction that breaks down nitric oxide, nitiric oxide probably being the signal that Minoxidil increases (you see where my interest came from, I wondered whether they might work well together).

I think it's worth a try if you don't like Minoxidil- especially if the alcohol is a problem, but maybe trying it with Minoxidil would be a better bet for a good result?

Personally I never tried it, tried Revita instead. It makes my hair feel good but in the long term appears to do nothing for hair loss! Oh well...
