so far on minoxidil

ive been on minoxidil 5% 1 x a day for the last 3 months
also on finasteride and nizoral (over 1.5 years)
use nano other days and every vitamin in creation.....


heres my question....................
my hair seems that it has gotten thinner, when i run my hands through
my hair it feels like i have peach fuzz growing in (at the base of my existing hairs) which if true, would be very very bad and mean that minoxidil is killing my hair

should i add spironolactone in some hope to thicken and maintain and let the
minoxidil grow my hair???

how do you guys like spironolactone????????????

oh by the way i am using it in the front

so a little help with experiences with minoxidil in the front and
spironolactone i would really appreciate it

Your hair may look thinner because you're only using 1 x per day. That might prolong the initial shed and take longer to see gains. I don't think minoxidil is killing your hair.

I've been on minoxidil 2 x daily for 15 months and it's done very well for me in front and elsewhere. Many others get results in front but not all. Hang in there for 6-8 months at least I'd say and try to apply twice per day whenever you can.

As for spironolactone, I started it at the same time I started minoxidil (and dropped finasteride), I used Lee's 2% for about 7 months. Can't say it did any good or bad. I stopped spironolactone when I started on finasteride again last september and saw no change in hair.

Hair naturally thins as it reaches the end of the growth cycle. By the same reguard, as healthy hair sprouts out it almost always starts thin and thickens up in the first few cm. Are you sure you just didnt notice this before?

i remember about 2 months before starting treatment i could have my hat off in the sun and it not be too noticeable, but now forget it!!

after i shower my hair is soooooooo soft and thin and lifeless

it sits flat now like i have it painted on

what the hell am i gonna do if minoxidil is killin me

i know everyone says this but please reply with advice i really need it
